Fast Portrait Lens for Bokeh

The XCD 2,5/90V moderate telephoto lens has a focal length that is equivalent to a full-frame 71mm lens and is ideal for taking close-up portraits or still life. A beautiful soft bokeh effect that emphasizes the subject is created by the lens's long focal length and large f/2.5 aperture. On bright light sources, the eight-point starburst effect that Hasselblad is known for can be produced by using the XCD 2,5/90V lens, which features a narrow aperture and leaf shutter blades. XCD 2,5/90V is 11% lighter than XCD 3,2/90 thanks to its optimized leaf shutter, small and lightweight focusing module, and compact optical design.

The XCD 2,5/90V lens has nine elements in six groups, one of which is an ED element and the other is a large-diameter aspherical element that was made just for it. The lens has a compact size and can produce an apochromatic effect for accurate color correction thanks to its carefully planned arrangement. The XCD 2,5/90V is a metal lens made with great care. It has a focus ring and a new control ring. A print of the Hasselblad "H" logo is delicately engraved on both rings. The design is a nod to the distinctive appearance of the HC/HCD lenses and was created with a precise 0.3mm drill bit. This new lens is both a nod to the past and a stand-alone, elegant statement, whether used with 907X or X-system cameras.

To fully support and not hinder the creative process, the lens is designed to feel natural and easy to use. For a smooth and satisfying experience, the focus and control ring's tactile mechanics have been refined. The focus ring can be switched from AF to MF with just a push and pull, and the scale marks make it easy to see the focus distance and depth of field at a glance. Shooting can be made more convenient and effective by customizing the control ring to provide quick access to preferred functions.
