The B+W 58mm UV-Haze #010 MRC MASTER Filter blocks UV light, which can cause image blurring and a bluish tint, especially in areas with pure sea air or high altitudes. This color-neutral filter can stay on your lens even when not actively needed, serving as protection for the front element. Made from high-transparency glass, it features B+W's MRC nano coating for minimal reflection, ensuring optical clarity is maintained as light reaches the image sensor. The hydrophobic coating also prevents dirt particles and water droplets from sticking, allowing water to bead up and roll off the surface for excellent dirt and water resistance.
