The AP-02 Lightweight Aluminum Travel Tripod from SmallRig is a compact, versatile tripod designed for travel, with a load capacity of 17.6 lb and a maximum height of 62.6". Weighing only 2.54 lb and folding down to 20.9", it easily fits into a backpack for convenient transport. Its aluminum legs and center column feature a faceted shape for enhanced strength and rigidity. The tripod includes a ball head with a locking lever for quick adjustments, an independent locking knob for its panoramic base, and an Arca-type quick release clamp with a classic locking knob. Two bubble levels ensure precise positioning, and the removable, reversible center column allows for inverted shooting. Additional features include a ballast hook for added stability, independent leg spread with locking angles at 23°, 55°, and 80°, flip-lock joints for quick setup, spiked steel feet with rubber covers, a compact folded diameter of 1.96", and a 1/4"-20 threaded accessory mount for attaching a monitor or microphone.
