With multiple 1/4"-20 and ARRI anti-twist 3/8"-16 threads, two cold shoe mounts, and a NATO rail, the cage can accommodate accessories like wireless transmitters, fill lights, or side handles. The Arca-type quick release plate on the bottom enables easy tripod or stabilizer integration, while the lightweight aluminum alloy and stainless steel construction, along with interior rubber pads, ensure durability and protection. Protect your HDMI cable on the Sony a7S III with the SmallRig HDMI Cable Clamp, designed specifically for the SmallRig 2999 cage. Made from durable aluminum, this clamp helps prevent the HDMI cable from being pulled or accidentally disconnected. It mounts securely to the cage with a 1/4"-20 screw, further reinforced by two anti-twist pins. The cable is held in place by an easy-to-grasp, knurled 1/4"-20 screw that adjusts a sliding block to accommodate various cable diameters. An included Allen wrench ensures secure attachment of the mounting screw.
