The Key Grip Video Monopod Kit offers versatile functionality with a sleek, lightweight design. It seamlessly transitions between a 3-leg base and a single foot, allowing for ground-level use or extending to over 6 feet tall. This kit features the innovative Key Grip Video Head, complete with integrated hex key storage for added convenience. The two-way head offers separate pan and tilt adjustments, both with etched scales for precise control, and includes a soft, comfortable control handle that is both extendable and locks securely with a twist. Hidden in the aluminum cap of the handle, you’ll find two 4mm hex keys—perfect for adjusting tripod bolts or securing the included quick-release plate to your camera or rig. A 2.5mm hex key is also included for adjusting the monopod's grub screw, ensuring the head stays securely attached. The tilt function on the head offers tension adjustment for smooth, controlled movement, while silver touchpoints make it easy to locate the control knobs for quick adjustments.

The Key Grip Video Monopod Kit includes the versatile 3398 Dovetail (arca-type) Quick Release Plate, equipped with ¼"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting bolts, both of which can be easily installed using either a flathead screwdriver or the two 4mm hex keys stored in the Key Grip handle. The plate also features a removable spring-loaded anti-twist pin and is over 101mm long, making it easy to balance a camera rig. A scale on the QR platform ensures quick and precise setup repetition, and the platform is repositionable, allowing it to slide front-to-back or side-to-side—a great option when using a camera cage or L-bracket. Safety bolts prevent accidental slippage, and the Dovetail connection is compatible with a range of ProMaster and other brand accessories. The monopod’s soft silicone grip on the handle, twist locks, and monopod body provides comfort and security. Its impressive height allows for elevated viewpoints above crowds, while the upper portion can detach and attach directly to the 3-leg base for ground-level work. The 3-leg base has wide, foldable legs for stability and features a ball joint with tension control for smooth panning and tilting. A collar on the ball joint locks the monopod vertically for smooth pans, and a soft foot or stainless-steel spike (both included) can replace the base for a traditional monopod setup. With a load capacity of 6.6 lbs, this kit is perfect for mirrorless video rigs and excels in still photography as well. Telephoto lenses with Dovetail-style (arca-compatible) tripod collars pair wonderfully with the Key Grip head, providing excellent tracking for wildlife or sports shots.
