The Saramonic Blink 500 ProX TXR is a compact clip-on microphone and transmitter unit, offering onboard recording functionality, designed to complement existing wireless setups or serve as a backup transmitter. When used alongside a Blink 500 ProX RX, RXDi, or RXUC receiver (each sold separately), it enables a compact solution for recording one or two wireless microphones to cameras and smartphones. Weighing just over 1 oz, the transmitter boasts a built-in clip and omnidirectional microphone, facilitating easy attachment to clothing for hassle-free true-wireless audio capture. Alternatively, users can employ the included SR-M1 lavalier microphone, plugging it into the 3.5mm input jack for a more discreet setup. Operating within the 2.4 GHz bandwidth, the system ensures reliable wireless transmission up to 328' line-of-sight. The TXR incorporates 8GB of internal memory, capable of storing up to 14.8 hours of 16- or 24-bit audio at 48 kHz in lossless .WAV formats. A tactile switch facilitates easy toggling of recording, with input level control, mute, and selectable mic- or line-level inputs offering further customization options. Powered by an internal 400mAh rechargeable lithium-ion battery, the transmitter delivers up to 11 hours of operation without recording, reduced to 8.5 hours when recording.
