WIDE-ANGLE LENS FOR NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY

Experience the expansive view and immortalize the captivating dance of light and shadow with the XCD 2,5/25V. With a wide-angle focal length equivalent to 20mm and a maximum aperture of f/2.5, this lens extends Hasselblad's tradition of exceptional optical performance. It transforms nocturnal cityscapes, starry skies, and indoor portraits into extraordinary works of art. Combining the timeless V-series design with intuitive, user-friendly functionality, it exudes elegance in both form and operation.

BROADEN THE HORIZON, CAPTURE LIGHT AND SHADOW

The wide-angle perspective of a 20mm-equivalent focal length captures abundant environmental and subject details, providing generous compositional and expressive space. The large f/2.5 aperture, combined with Hasselblad's renowned optical excellence, allows the XCD 2,5/25V to encapsulate rich highlight and shadow details, revealing hidden wonders even at dusk or in the dark.

MASTERFUL OPTICAL DESIGN, EXCELLENCE AT ANY DISTANCE

The XCD 2,5/25V boasts an optical structure comprising thirteen elements in ten groups, including four aspherical elements and three ED elements, designed to meet the high-resolution demands of 100-megapixel sensors. This configuration ensures images remain sharp and crisp from the center to the edges while effectively minimizing chromatic dispersion. Thanks to its precise optical design, the XCD 2,5/25V offers superior resolution, color fidelity, and a large aperture within a compact body. Compared to the XCD 4/21, which has a maximum aperture of f/4, the XCD 2,5/25V is smaller, lighter, and features a faster f/2.5 maximum aperture. The XCD 2,5/25V also excels in close-up photography, showcasing its exceptional optical quality. With a minimum focusing distance of 25 cm and a maximum image scale of 1:5.8, it provides flexible composition through its wide-angle view, while the large aperture accentuates subjects, enhancing the expressiveness of close-up shots of gourmet dishes, flowers, and more.

ELEGANT DESIGN

The metal lens body features the "V" insignia at one end, with the "H" logo print engraved on both the focus and control rings. This detail carries on the Hasselblad XCD V series' classic design ethos with refined elegance.

EFFORTLESS CONTROL

A simple push and pull of the focus ring enables seamless switching between AF and MF modes. In MF mode, intuitive scale marks on the lens body clearly display focus distance and depth of field, ensuring precise focus control at a glance. Additionally, the control ring is customizable for quick access to your preferred functions, making it easy to capture the perfect moment effortlessly.

PRECISE DRIVE, SWIFT FOCUSING

Thanks to its linear stepping motor and a smaller, lighter lens group, the XCD 2,5/25V provides a nimble and responsive focusing experience when paired with the X or V system's medium format digital cameras that support PDAF. The linear stepping motor can accurately control the movement of the focusing lens group, thereby improving the focusing precision. The lightweight and compact focusing lens group moves rapidly, ensuring swift and accurate focusing.

FAST LEAF SHUTTER, FLEXIBLE LIGHT MANIPULATION

The XCD 2,5/25V features a large-diameter leaf shutter module with a shutter speed of up to 1/4000s. This allows for global shutter capabilities and flash synchronization at all speeds, making it especially beneficial for flash photography. For example, in bright daylight, the flash can be used to darken the background, highlight the subject, and sharply freeze motion.
