Designed for the RS 3 Pro and RS 4 Pro gimbal stabilizers, the DJI Focus Pro LiDAR unit simplifies intelligent autofocus for solo cinematographers. Its rangefinder, featuring 76,800 ranging points, a 30 Hz refresh rate, and a 65.6' maximum detection area, makes focusing on moving objects effortless. This unit supports both wide-angle and telephoto lens configurations. Equipped with a built-in camera boasting a 30mm focal length and a 70° field of view, it ensures precise focus. Users can switch between wide-angle, telephoto, and focus spot modes to suit their shooting needs. When paired with the RS 4 Pro gimbal, ActiveTrack Pro enhances recognition and tracking performance for multiple subjects or those at a distance. Compatible with the Focus Pro Motor, it provides accurate cinema-style autofocus. The LiDAR unit attaches to your RS 3 or RS 4 Pro series gimbal or camera via a cold shoe or 1/4"-20 thread and is powered through a USB-C cable.

When paired with the Focus Pro Motor, the LiDAR unit enables autofocus with compatible lenses. It projects 76,800 ranging points within a 1.6 to 65.6' area. Additionally, it features a built-in camera with a 30mm equivalent focal length and a 70° field of view, meeting the focusing requirements for most scenarios.

Updated AutoTrack Pro & Intuitive Modes

The next-generation ActiveTrack Pro reads images directly from the Focus Pro LiDAR Autofocus's built-in camera, eliminating the need for the Ronin Image Transmitter. This allows you to monitor or frame the subject on the RS 4 Pro's OLED touchscreen. Even if the target is briefly obscured, the LiDAR unit quickly relocates and retains focus. Intuitive modes include Tracking, which recognizes up to five subjects simultaneously and allows you to select one to follow; Smart Object Identification, which detects humans and vehicles; Flex Spot, which activates focus lock by framing the subject and pressing the gimbal trigger (supports autofocus only); and Wide, which automatically detects and follows the subject, supporting both autofocus and ActiveTrack.
